Communication Between Men and Women

Program Overview

This half day program focuses on the communication style differences between men and women. The content of the program is based on the teachings of Deborah Tannen and John Grey.

The diverse workforce has brought together great talents while adding confusion and conflict between genders. Individuals are attempting to use the old roles, or "old tapes," with an entirely new system. Unfortunately, the failure rate is quite high and self-confidence, self-esteem, and productivity have decreased. This training program is designed to help organizations take a step in opening the door to accepting, learning, and understanding these changes.

Program Objectives

  • Examine gender-defined roles taking place in the workplace.
  • Expand one's repertoire of gender-cooperation skills.
  • Evaluate gender role stereotypes.
  • Plan how men and women can be productive partners.
